It's like the mirrors in the dressing rooms at department stores. I always find at least one weird typo (that spell check didn't catch) or an extra word or a grammar error right after I publish a post. It doesn't matter how fast I click "edit post" to fix it... Google Reader takes it and plasters it all over your Readers like the paparazzi with a bad Brittney photo.
I spelled Laurent (in Yves Saint Laurent) with an "A" instead of "E." It has been changed. I'm sorry for the disrespect to YSL and for making you read such a mistake. I don't know why I can't catch minor mistakes like this BEFORE I hit the publish button. Why doesn't Google Reader recognize edits?

I find that really annoying as well!
ReplyDeleteGood news - I scrolled down in Reader when I read this post, and the subject line was spelled properly! Perhaps it makes edits after all?
ReplyDeletei'm a grammar and spelling crazy person, so when i do this i want to kick myself. and then it's impossible to correct without everyone knowing!
ReplyDeleteI HATE THIS! Mine does it too and it's so annoying! I hate it when I see it on other's blogs, (though I didn't read your first post until this one so no worries) and I hate it when I find one on my own blog!
ReplyDeleteI am a stickler for grammar, so I am very annoyed when I screw up. I go crazy when I misspell something and don't catch it in time.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain! I am always finding mistakes that I made after the fact. I am not a big fan of Blogger spellcheck!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis happens to me allllll the time and makes me feel like such a fool. Don't feel bad, blogger gets the best of all of us sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when that happens! It really does take FOREVER to get fixed, ick! Oh well, we all know that you are a smartie anyways, so don't worry!!
ReplyDeleteThis always bugs me too!! You're not alone!
